Google Ads Lead Form Extensions Tutorial and Example

Lead Form Extensions are a brand new ad extension available in Google Ads. This video will show how to create lead form extensions and some examples that you can learn from as well. At the time of making this video, Google Ads Lead Form Extensions are in Beta, but you should have access to them in your Google Ads account. All you need to do is open up a Search Campaign, go to the Ads & Extensions link, click on the Extensions tab, and then click on the plus-sign to add a new Extension, and choose Lead Form Extension from the dropdown menu. Lead form extensions are very useful because people can give you their information directly from a mobile search ad. Currently, lead form extensions will show on Android and iOS devices, which includes mobile phones and tablets. When your customers are search for your company or the products and/or services that you offer, you can get their name, phone number, email address, and zip code directly from your search ad. Advertisers are charged when someone clicks on their Lead Form. People don't necessarily need to fill out your Lead Form in order for a click to be counted, and completed Leads will be available for download from the Extensions page in Google Ads. You can download a CSV file underneath each lead form ad extension in your Google AdWords account. There will be a 'download leads' link that you can click for all of your leads. Lead forms work on Search Network campaigns, so all of your bidding and targeting options are determined by the campaign your form is attached to. They are applied like any other ad extension directly to your advertisement.
