___________________________________________________________________________ Renovating My Duplex To Increase Rents (Real Estate Investing) In this video I bring you along on the walkthrough as I approve the plans to renovate my rental property (one side of my Duplex). I just had a tenant leave, and they actually broke the lease early which gives me a 2 month paid buffer to get all renovations done and I won't lose out on rents collected! I don't want to over-renovate, but the rental comps in the are support 20%+ rent pricing for a property of this size. So i'm doing some simple things like flooring, appliances, counter tops in the kitchen, cabinet doors, bathroom and the laundry room. Here's how much we think it's going to cost (waiting on exact bids) This will help me increase property value by having a higher rent roll, and i'll get more cash flow from the unit which will mean more passive income in my pocket every month.
