We talk about different IRS codes, what a tax writeoff is, my business expenses and how I structure my taxes. I believe I offer a unique perspective on this because I have gone to a great length to reduce my tax bill by moving 3,000 miles away to a tax haven on an island called island called Puerto Rico. For years I paid taxes in the states at the highest tax bracket. In this video I will also touch on how I am able to use my real estate to reduce my tax bill. By owning rental properties, I am bale to depreciate them against any active income I make, which helps me reduce my grass taxable income by hundreds of thousands every year. This is a tax strategy known as real estate depreciation, and it is very powerful. If this video gets enough comments about it, I will make a video talking about each of the different tax havens I looked into (there are dozens) and why I ultimately made the decision to move to Puerto rico as a tax strategy for my business and personal income.
