___________________________________________________________________________ My Minimalist Mansion Tour… Today I give you a full tour of my minimalist style home, with over 6,200 square-feet of living space that is pretty much empty. I've been asked the question: Hayden, why do you have an empty mansion? It kind-of startled me for a second, and I hesitated with my answer to ick my words carefully. But I answered by saying that that space isn't what makes you a "minimalist", it's what you fill the space with…. Minimalism to me means not having unnecessary junk. However that's going to be different for every person. The stuff I use might be junk if it was in your house, and vice versa. I practice minimalism & financial minimalism in a very niche specific way that most people don't/can't. I bought a house this large, which they consider a "Mansion' on Zillow purely because it was a real estate investment. Personally I wouldn't normally want to live in a house this large. But I wanted to show you what its like to try a semi-version of minimalist living.
