This is probably the most important thing I've learned on parenting because the consequences of not ensuring a secure attachment make life more challenging for parent and child all the way through to adulthood. I want to state that I understand the complexity of childcare and I'm not detached from the realities most families face. However, that doesn't mean that we shouldn't have an ideal for our children and try to figure out how was can make them a priority for the most formative years of their lives. When we normalize the handing over of our kids to the government to raise, we don't question the consequences of that. The intention of this video is to bring awareness to the study of attachment so that mother's or primary caretakers can make informed decisions.
