These are the spending habits I have when it comes to food, entertainment and my overall cost of living. We also break down my monthly expenses on a weekly basis for how much I spent on rent/mortgage, utilities, car insurance, car payments and everything else! Being disciplined and having positive habits is definitely crucial to make sure you can handle your finances properly. However I never put too much attention on my expenses. I keep them somewhat within reason and just put all my attention on my income. THAT is a trait of someone who is making or is going to make a lot of money, and I have always lived that way. If you focus all your attention on lowering your expenses, then it takes away from increasing your income which should be your priority. That's a great mindset shift to make!
