With this upcoming Alpha Release players will get to be the first to experience gameplay, social hubs and the play-to-earn engine in The Sandbox’s metaverse. Who Can Participate?
Those without an Alpha Pass will be able to access the Alpha Hub and visit three experiences and visit the social hub. But they can’t participate in play-to-earn events. Those who have an Alpha Pass will be able to access all 18 experiences and play-to-earn. So what’s an Alpha Pass and how can I get one? If you are a land owner in The Sandbox you have a chance to win one of the 1,000 Alpha Passes reserved for the raffle. LAND is purchased in public sales or via the secondary market. These LANDs must be in the same wallet connected to your account at The Sandbox when you registered.First you must register for the Alpha Raffle starting today November 22 at 13:00 UTC, running to November 28 at 13:00 UTC. To do so simply visit The Sandbox website. Every LAND gives you one more chance to win. So keeping your lands linked to the same wallet is best. The registration window closes on November 28 at 13:00 UTC, the text below your avatar will change to “Raffle Draw in Progress.” After the raffle, selected winners receive a pop-up congratulating them on being one of the lucky thousand. Click “Claim the Pass.” There will be a gas fee. Winners will receive their Alpha Pass on November 29, the day The Sandbox Alpha Season begins. 2) Daily Social Contests
Once Alpha Season opens, anyone with a Sandbox account will be able to participate in their daily social contests and win another of the 750 extra Alpha Passes. These 750 will be given away every week for three weeks. Check the Alpha Pass’ availability on the NFT marketplace OpenSea between November 29th and December 19th. Here Alpha NFT pass owners can sell theirs to you. Warning: Do not buy any Alpha Pass after December 20, as the Event will have ended and the pass will be worthless.
The Alpha release is a multi-week event starting November 29th, 2021. Players can earn $SAND token rewards as well as NFTs for playing games inside the metaverse. Players will have the opportunity to explore The Sandbox Metaverse for the first time via 18 experiences. A new experience will be added each weekday leading up to the Alpha Event’s conclusion on Dec. 20th, 2021.
